Promoter 
The competition is organised and administered by the Devonport Business Association Inc. (“DBA”). 

Eligibility 

Voting is open to all members of the public. 

One vote per person is permitted. Duplicate or incomplete entries may be removed. 

Entrants must provide a valid email address to be eligible for the $500 prize draw. 

Voting is open to all ages. If the winner of the $500 Prezzy Card is under 18, the prize will be awarded to their parent or legal guardian on their behalf. 

Participation in the business competition is open to businesses and buildings located within the Devonport Business Improvement District (BID) area. 

“Display” may include decorated shop windows, building fronts, façades, or exterior decorations visible to the public from the street. Displays should celebrate the festive season and be suitable for all ages. 

How to Enter 

Members of the public can vote by completing a paper entry form at the Devonport Library or Devonport Community House, or by submitting the online form at devonport.co.nz. 

Votes must be received between 1 December 2025 and 11 am, 22 December 2025. 

Participating businesses or building owners must register their display with the DBA prior to the competition start date. 

Prizes 

Winning display: the participating business or building with the highest number of public votes will receive a $1,000 Prezzy Card. 

Voter prize: one voter will be randomly drawn to receive a $500 Prezzy Card. 

If the drawn voter is under 18, the prize will be accepted by their parent or legal guardian. 

Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash. 

The DBA is not responsible for any terms, conditions, or fees associated with Prezzy Card use. 

Winner Notification 

The winning business and voter will be notified by email or phone within five (5) days of voting closing. 

If the voter winner cannot be reached within seven (7) days, a new winner may be drawn. 

Winner names may be announced publicly once confirmed. 

Use of Entries 
By voting, entrants consent to the DBA using non-identifiable voting data and winner names for promotional purposes relating to this event. 

General 

The DBA’s decision on all matters relating to this competition is final and no correspondence will be entered into. 

The DBA reserves the right to verify votes and disqualify any fraudulent or invalid entries. 

The DBA may cancel, suspend, or amend the competition if necessary due to events beyond its control. 

Privacy 
Personal information is collected solely for the administration of this competition and will not be shared with third parties. Entrants may request access to, or correction of, their information by contacting manager@devonport.co.nz.
