Auckland Open Chess Tournament at Sierra Café

Whether you're a seasoned player or a rising chess enthusiast, put your skills to the test at the Auckland Open Chess Tournament, hosted by the Auckland Chess Academy at Sierra Café in Devonport.

Compete in six rounds of Swiss League chess (15+0 format) in a friendly yet competitive setting, with cash prizes up for grabs and complimentary refreshments for every participant, courtesy of Sierra Café.

Tournament Details:

• 6 rounds (Swiss League)

• Time control: 15 minutes per player, no increment (15+0)

• Entry fee: $40 (16 years and over), $35 (under 16)

• Limited to 30 players

• First prize: $100
