Our Devonport 2026 returns to The Vic across two evenings, bringing together a wonderful line-up of local voices, writers, artists, thinkers and storytellers, each sharing a short talk on something close to their heart. It's a celebration of the people, places and stories that make Devonport what it is.
This year's speakers include Richard Loseby (Hope It Goes Well), John Davy (Harmony Hall), Janet Mazenier (One Eye to See, One Eye to Feel: Painting the Spirit of Place), Tony McNeight (Through a Sketcher's Eyes), Geoff Chapple (The Trail Runs Through It), Innes Asher (Why is there a Child Poverty Crisis), Rob Drent (Devonport News and Newsmakers), Judy McGregor (Why Devonport is a Joyful Place to Live) and David Kayrouz (What 'The Arrival' meant that Changed me as a person).
Presented by Devonport Library Associates as a fundraiser for local charities. A lovely evening out, and every ticket supports a great cause.
