Sunsetter Pre & After Parties
Where to eat, drink and keep the night going in Devonport
Sunsetter Festival is on at Windsor Reserve on Saturday 31 January 2026, from 1pm to 9pm, but the fun doesn’t stop when the music wraps.
Before the gates open and once the festival winds down, Devonport’s local bars and eateries are hosting a range of pre-festival brunches, live music, DJs and after-parties, all within easy walking distance of the waterfront. Whether you’re easing into the day or keen to keep the night going, there’s something happening across the village.
All after-parties listed below are free entry. Full timings and line-ups are available on individual venue posters.

After Sunsetter
Signal Hill

The Kestrel
1 Queens Parade, Devonport Wharf
Located right on the waterfront, The Kestrel will be on site at Sunsetter during the day, then hosting an after-party with a live band, The Sons, from 8pm. Modern New Zealand pub food, craft drinks and scenic harbour views make this an easy post-festival stop.
