Explore collage as a creative outlet for self-expression, storytelling and play in this four-week course with Tāmaki Makaurau-based artist and educator Naomi Azoulay.
Participants will learn a variety of collage techniques and approaches, working with colour, shape, composition, texture and layering. The focus is on experimentation and creative exploration, with space to discover your personal style and develop ideas at your own pace.
The course will explore a range of methods, from paper-based collage through to 3D applications, in a supportive, slow-paced studio environment. It is suitable for creatives wanting to loosen up their practice, or anyone curious about collage as a therapeutic creative outlet.
No experience is needed and all materials are provided.
Classes run every Sunday from 2 August to 23 August, 10:00am – 1:00pm. Tickets are $140 and include all materials.
